i never use this thing
it is a little pen to use on my phone i can use my fingers just fine but this was a present
my mom has one it is purple. my sisters is pink. mine is marbled green .
but i like this pen because i know how to make it. we made pens in wood shop that came in little kits with resin blocks like this for pens.
it is fun to hold, perfect and smooth, it is fun to roll in your hands like a play dough snake.
it takes to long to dig it out of my bag though, i just use my finger.
i love the color though lime green mixed with yellow with threads of black going through. and it has little metallic flecks through the whole thing making it shine.
the nib is black the hardware is silver. it looks sleek and cold but pretty

the disk is gone with the rubber seal impossible to pry up that is always the hard part for me, i can get this ring off but not he lid. so close
this one is shiny gold only a little rust on the sides. my aunt keeps hers for ever, taking back the jars and lids, after the jam and juice is gone.
i think bell jars say old. homey. maybe a little southern.you think the person who cans, makes pies and quilts and gardens and grows their own vegetables. a grandma kind of feeling........... warm sunny porch in the fall, smelling of pie and cider. kind of the American dream.
i dont know if this rim has been used.it has no scratches and it is shiny. a little halo maybe
buttery yellow gold not an orange amber gold . it rings when you sit it down soft and kinda high , the sound ends fast it does not carry. lovely and perfect circle big enough to go over my hand, but scrapes my knuckles when i make a fist

random posts for humanities
What was the most interesting or surprising thing about this topic?
What was the social impact on Americans today? How did this author or event affect us culturally?
What was the context? What events that were going on socially caused the people/writers to feel/write the way they did?
What is your overall impression or feeling about this author/event?
Emily Dickinson
what i found most interesting was how she locked herself away from other people, but her poetry is still very relatable. even if she never interacted with people she seemed to understand how they think and feel. i think Dickinson’s work allowed for more loose poetry styles to develop, and changed what people view as poetry. i feel dickinson did not have manny social influences, she was rich enough to no be effected by social change. even in her friendship with a abolitionist, most of her letters concerned literary works, rather than the social changes of the civil war. i feel emily dickinson was a incredibly reflective person whose solitude and monetary status allowed her to capture her personality in poetry, making her thoughts incredibly relatable.
William Blake
i find interesting is Blake’s strong imagery. even without his paintings to accompany the poems, you can distinctly see what is happening. Blake pulls at your heart strings, not by feeling what the suffering children feel, but seeing them sharply in times of pain and death. Blake’s poetry might have been brought up in England when discussing child labour laws, or in favor of aiding the poor. I think Blake just wrote about what he saw, projecting his own ideals of childhood purity on to the children in his poetry. but blake’s work was very much effected by current events.
Personally, i think Blake was kind of a rebel without a cause. he seemed to passively dabble in taboo topics of the time, writing on feminism,homosexuality, blasphemy, and reportedly took place in the front lines of riot because he was swept up in the mob.
Harlem Renaissance
the most interesting part of the harlem renaissance to me is the making of creative content by black people for black people. The harlem renaissance has established America’s music,art, and manny historic buildings that are still there today. Harlem allowed black people to express themselves for the first time, and define for themselves what it meant to be black. oppressive Jim Cowe laws in the south, and open industrial jobs in the north made for a better change in life for manny. plays, poetry, stories, and music let black voices speak out against discrimination and stereotypes and define for themselves what black is.
I like the harlem renaissance because it started to sit America’s art and music apart from Europe, and that influence has held strong today.

dermals
i don't really like the way i look. i feel plain, with scrubby short brown hair, too- brown eyes, and bad skin.
but i like myself a little more when i got my first dermal. a dermal is piercing that can be placed almost any where, but i got mine on the back of my neck. most people don't even see it, it is under my hair, a secret, like wearing cute bras and panties. you just feel better because you feel pretty.
i want to get more, but almost the for the opposite reason of the one in my neck. i hate my arms. they are thin and wiry, and really hairy for a girls arm. i want dermals so you will see those first little sparkly gems on my arms. i will see those first i will love them. i will still have thin hairy arms but i will have picked something to make them better in my eyes.
i picked out the tops i want carefully, i picked a top made of clock gears for my neck, it is pretty with rotational symmetry, and gold and silver. a hidden treasure i can hide. for my arms i want opals, i found a shop that makes tiny tops 5 mm across in opal. three in each arm. and opal gets more rainbows with time, so wearing them every day will make me feel prettier, and they will become pretty too.
